    married Jung In but on their wedding day she was forced to go to Shimyang. After being held captive, she escapes from the enemies and returns to her hometown only to be ignored by her in-laws. Her mother-in-law fabricates a lie saying that Soo Yeon's carrying another man's child in order to throw Soo Yeon out of the house. Soo Yeon returns home only to be poisoned by her illegitimate half-brother and mistress. Soo Yeon and her sister-in-law become vengeful ghosts and seek revenge by seducing men and then killing them.
